Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Korucuk Apps handles information in connection with Swipe Todos. This policy applies only to Swipe Todos and not to other apps, websites, or services.

Information We Collect

Account information: email address, display name, sign-in method (email, Google or guest) and a unique user ID. If you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and profile photo link
Task content you create: title, description, priority, tags, keywords, category, due date, reminder time and repeat, schedule days, estimated time, status, and completion or skip history
App preferences: language, dark mode, notification and display options, avatar colour or initials, and the deck sorting rules you configure
Feedback you choose to send us from inside the app
Usage timestamps, such as when your account and settings were created and when the app was last used
Diagnostic data for crash and error reporting (Sentry): app version, device model, operating system version, error details and your user ID. Task titles, descriptions, names and email addresses are removed or masked before this data is sent
Unfinished new-task drafts, kept only on your device for up to 24 hours and never sent to our servers

How We Use Information

To create, sync, display, update, complete, skip, restore, and delete your Swipe Todos tasks

To send local task reminders when you enable notifications
To detect, diagnose and fix crashes and errors
To maintain app security and prevent abuse
To receive and review feedback you send, and to respond to support and privacy requests

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and do not use your data for targeted advertising. We share or process information only with service providers needed to operate Swipe Todos, when you ask us to, or when required by law.

Third-Party Services

Swipe Todos relies on trusted third-party services to provide the app features listed below.

Google Firebase Authentication for email, guest (anonymous) and Google sign-in
Google Cloud Firestore for storing your tasks, settings, rules and feedback
Google Firebase Storage for an optional profile photo, if that option is available in your version
Google Sign-In, if you choose to sign in with your Google account
Sentry (sentry.io) for crash and error reporting
Apple App Store and Google Play Store for app distribution and platform security, under their own policies
Expo notification APIs for scheduling reminders on your device (reminders are local; we do not send remote push notifications)

App Permissions

Notifications permission, used only to show task reminders when you enable reminders
Photo library permission, used only if you choose to upload a profile photo and that option is available in your version

Legal Bases for Processing

We process your information to provide the app you asked for (performance of our agreement with you), to keep it secure and fix errors (our legitimate interests, which do not override your rights), to answer your requests, and where the law requires us to. We do not ask for consent to process the data above, because it is not needed to provide the app; reminders depend only on the notification permission you control on your device.

Where Your Data Is Processed

Firebase and Sentry are operated by companies that run servers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside Türkiye or outside the country where you live. When this happens we rely on the safeguards the applicable law provides, such as the rules for international transfers in Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Article 9) and, where it applies, the GDPR. Guest Accounts and Data on Your Device

If you continue without an account, the app creates an anonymous account tied to your device. Guest data may be lost if you delete the app or clear its data, and a guest account cannot be recovered. Some information, such as unfinished drafts, stays only on your device.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

Tell you whether we process your personal data and give you a copy or information about it
Correct incomplete or inaccurate data
Delete or anonymise your data
Restrict processing or object to it
Notify third parties who received your data of corrections or deletions
Receive your data in a usable form, where the law allows

How to Use Your Rights

Write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK) in Türkiye or to your local data protection authority.

Data Breaches

If a security incident affects your personal data, we will notify the competent authority and the people affected as required by law, including notifying the Personal Data Protection Board in Türkiye within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Swipe Todos. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information protected through platform and provider security controls.

Data Retention

We keep your account information, tasks, preferences, rules and feedback while your account remains active or as needed to provide Swipe Todos. Tasks you delete move to the trash and are permanently deleted automatically after 10 days. If you turn on the optional skipped-task clean-up setting, tasks skipped for more than 1 day move to the trash. Unfinished drafts stay on your device for up to 24 hours. Crash and error diagnostics are kept by Sentry for a limited period. If you delete your account, the app attempts to delete your tasks, rules, settings and any profile photo associated with that account, unless retention is required by law or needed for legitimate security purposes.

Your Choices

You can update your profile information in the app where available, delete tasks, and delete your account from the app (Profile > Delete Account). You may also request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, or object to its processing, by contacting us at [email protected]. See Your Rights below.

Children

Swipe Todos is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
