Swipe Todos is a simple task management app for creating, organizing, and completing personal to-do items.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Swipe Todos (the "App"), provided by Ahmet Said Korucuk ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the App.

1. The service

Swipe Todos is a personal to-do app that shows one task at a time. You can swipe to complete or skip tasks, organize them with tags, rules and reminders, and receive reminders. Some features (such as list rules and cloud sync) require an account. The App is currently free and has no paid features; if that changes, we will tell you before you pay for anything.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use online services) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Accounts and guest mode

You can use the App as a guest with a limit of 5 tasks, or create an account with email and password or Google Sign-In to remove the limit and sync your data. Guest data is tied to your device and may be lost if you delete the App or clear its data. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your content

The tasks, notes and other information you enter ("Your Content") belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content solely to operate the App for you. Your Content is private to your account and is not shared with other users. You are responsible for Your Content: do not enter anything unlawful, and do not store other people's sensitive personal data without a lawful reason.

5. Trash, skipped tasks and data loss

Tasks you delete move to the trash and are permanently deleted after 10 days. If you turn on the optional "clean up skipped cards" setting, tasks skipped for more than 1 day also move to the trash. Unfinished drafts are kept on your device for up to 24 hours. Permanently deleted data cannot be recovered. We take reasonable care of your data but do not guarantee backups, so keep a separate copy of anything important.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App. This includes trying to break, probe or disrupt the App or its servers, accessing other users' data, reverse engineering the App except where the law allows it, using automated means to create accounts or load the service, or using the App for anything unlawful.

7. Notifications and reminders

If you allow notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device. Reminders depend on your device, operating system, battery and Do Not Disturb settings and permissions, so we cannot guarantee that every reminder will appear on time or at all. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

8. License and ownership

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App for your own purposes. The App, its design, code, name and logo belong to us and are protected by law; you may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute them. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services such as Firebase (authentication and data storage), Google Sign-In and Sentry (crash reporting). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. You also acquire the App through the Apple App Store or Google Play, whose terms apply to your download; Apple and Google are not responsible for the App, its maintenance or support.

11. Deleting your account and termination

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account and its data in the App under Profile > Delete Account. Deleted data cannot be recovered. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, and we will explain why where we reasonably can. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) stay in effect after termination.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; if the changes are material, we will tell you in the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.

13. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Do not rely on the App as your only copy of important information or for time-critical reminders.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If you are a consumer, you may bring a complaint to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court where you live, within the limits set by law.

16. General

If a part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right right away, we do not give it up. These Terms and the documents they refer to are the whole agreement between you and us about the App. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. Translations are provided for convenience; if they differ, the Turkish version applies for users in Türkiye and the English version otherwise.
